Stomach ache -UGHHHHH!!!

Okay, so competition was decent. Maybe we might be better than last year.
Success, we had 8 people show up, an improvement from last year's 7!

It was fun, we played NINJA and STOMACH-ACHE UGHHH!
Good job to those who went! (: Hopefully it was enjoyable! How was the In N Out?

For me, my impromptu topic was John Goddard made a list of 127 exciting and adventurous things to do. It was alright.

And for my speech, I talked about controlling children. I will record it maybe, and I'll keep it for next year.

Interview was alright. They asked me, "Who do you know that interests you the most?", "What has Academic Decathlon done for you?", "Is there anything else you would like the tell me about yourself?"

Comment on the competition PLOCKS. SO that we can tell competitors next year.

Okay so two days until competition. sorry haven't really been updating much. I will get back to doing this.

For the first day concerning Acadec Social

Social/ Study session
Before the social/study session:
Prepare your presentation on your assigned pages. And then go on demidec.com and look at the focused quiz and make sure you can answer the important ones. You decide what's important, okay?
I don't want all 20 questions, so just go with maybe 7 or 8 important ones okay?

On the day of, you present, and after we finish, we play jeapardy for PRIZES! :) okay? so study!

And if we might not finish, but I plan for that to be just 2-3 hours, okay?

Social: at Betty's house. Maybe we can watch a movie! I want to play a few ice breakers, we never played before. Like the name game! we should have done it a long time ago :O....
but I gotta make sure with Bettys!

so today, we did something that was different and i have to say i learn something or actually remember something i guess. well, what we did was that each person would have 3-4 paper from the resource(?) binder and we summarize those 3-4 pages on a separate sheet of paper. And finally after 30 minutes or so, we would present what we wrote on our paper so other people could take notes or remember/learn something.
my opinion of this: we should do this often cuz im learning SOMETHING :D and instead of reading that   
                            THICK binder and then taking notes i rather listen and take notes
whats your opinion of this? was it helpful? did you learn anything at all? COMMENT POR FAVOR
btw are any of you guys busy on the first sunday of winter break? if you arent then we can have a study group at someone house :D derek wants to go to my house but if you guys want to you guys can come but i ain't feedin ya except water and dog food! MWHUAAA! jk i think...
